Headwind MDM is a mobile device management platform for organizations overseeing Android smartphones, tablets, kiosks, rugged devices, and digital signage. Its core scope covers application deployment, device policies, monitoring, remote controls, location tracking, and kiosk lockdown. The product fits teams that need open-source control, self-hosting, or a focused Android deployment rather than broad multi-platform management.
Pricing spans several deployment models. Community Edition is free and open source, with self-hosted Android MDM and QR-code enrollment. Cloud costs $19 per device per year with annual billing and provides a hosted service, all features, no server expenses, and volume discounts. Premium costs $2,990 as a one-time payment and includes a perpetual license, dedicated server, free deployment, and one year of premium support. Premium Support Renewal costs $1,490 per year. Enterprise adds extra features, air-gapped network support, open-source access, and free integration services. Remote Control & URL Filtering is a separate $990 one-time option.
