Our verdict on Handled
Handled is a personal productivity assistant for people who want to manage reminders, calendars and tasks through chat rather than switching among apps. Available as a managed cloud service, it connects with services including Google Calendar, Gmail, Microsoft 365 calendar, Outlook mail, Todoist and Google Drive. Users can also message it through WhatsApp or Telegram, while Microsoft Teams is described as an option for teams. Its feature set suits individuals coordinating everyday tasks across apps, with a Team option for shared use.
Its breadth goes beyond reminders: Handled can manage calendar events, provide daily briefings, monitor prices with scheduled alerts, interpret photos and documents, and turn voice notes into task lists or reminders. Todoist support includes task creation, updates and two-way mirroring. It can also create shared lists and pages from a message, and retain preferences, contacts and routines as persistent memory. Email actions through connected Gmail or Outlook require confirmation, as do actions that change something, according to the vendor. That confirmation step is relevant for users who want chat-driven help without unattended changes.
The Free plan costs $0 per month, has unlimited tasks and all integrations, and allows five messages per day after the first week; it requires no credit card and has no time limit. Pro costs $10 monthly or $79 annually and removes the daily message limit, with priority support. Team includes one assistant per person, central billing, priority onboarding and Microsoft Teams. Handled fits solo users who value cross-app reminders and are comfortable with a chat-based cloud assistant. It may be a poor fit for someone who needs a desktop or mobile app, or who wants unrestricted messaging without a paid plan. The service lists GDPR compliance and offers support by email and documentation.
