Our verdict on Hammer Missions

Hammer Missions brings flight planning, cloud-based imagery processing and inspection tools together for engineers, consultants, surveyors and asset owners. It supports web, iOS and Android, and is positioned for workflows involving supported drones and 3D cameras. Users can create georeferenced orthomosaic maps and 3D models, measure project data, annotate it and share reports. The combination suits teams that want to move from survey planning to review and reporting in one product, especially when mobile access matters.

Its mapping workflow covers 2D orthomosaics, 3D models and measurements of distances, areas and volumes. Exports include formats such as TIFF, LAS, OBJ, KML and XYZ. Processing is cloud-based, which fits teams comfortable sending imagery through a hosted workflow, but may not suit those who require local processing. Thermal data processing and project timeline comparison are included in Cruise, while AI-assisted analysis appears in Enterprise. That makes plan choice consequential for inspection teams: Ascend Pro covers flight planning and core mapping, while advanced analysis sits in higher tiers.

The published plans show Ascend Pro for a single user, with report generation and 72-hour email support. Cruise is also for a single user and adds thermal processing, project comparisons, additional export formats and 48-hour email support. Enterprise adds multiple users, team and client invitations, custom roles and permissions, AI analysis, and 24-hour call and email support. Pricing is request-based, and the product advertises a 14-day trial. Hammer Missions is a sensible fit for survey and inspection teams prioritizing mobile planning, mapping and shared review; teams seeking local processing or clear published plan costs should compare alternatives before committing.
