A low-cost, open-source option for technical teams managing smaller gyms or clubs.

Gym141 is open-source, self-hosted management software for gyms, sports clubs, martial-arts organizations, and training groups. It combines member records, fee plans, billing periods, reminders, membership pauses, payment history, cash-book accounting, reports, schedules, a public website, and a member portal. The product runs on shared web hosting with PHP and SQLite, and its web installer, one-click updater, and backups support a self-managed deployment model. It is best suited to technical operators who want control over hosting and an inexpensive way to manage billing operations.
Pricing is unusually accessible for a billing system. The Free plan costs €0 forever and includes the full feature set, an open-source MIT license, self-hosting, and updates from the vendor site, with up to 25 active members. Pro costs €14.90 per month and adds unlimited members while retaining open-source software and self-hosting. Ultra costs €29.90 per month, includes everything in Pro, and adds priority support and multi-location support. Priority support is also available as a standalone €9.90-per-month add-on. The published plans show monthly pricing in EUR including VAT, with payments processed through Stripe.
Operationally, Gym141 covers more than recurring fee records: its cash book supports categories, payment methods, fixed costs, and reports, while the member portal shows fee status, events, and progress charts. Imports, exports, filters, a configurable weekly training schedule, and a REST API broaden its usefulness for organizations that can manage their own web environment. AI registration-form scanning is available with an Anthropic API key. Choose Gym141 if self-hosting, open-source access, fee pauses, and accounting visibility matter more than a managed service. Smaller organizations can start on Free; larger or multi-location operations should consider Pro or Ultra, with Ultra required for multi-location support.
