Our verdict on GSTZen

GSTZen is a cloud-based GST compliance platform for businesses, enterprises, Chartered Accountants, tax practitioners and technology teams in India. It covers GST return preparation and filing for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, along with reconciliation, e-invoicing, E-Way Bills, GST reporting and developer APIs. Multi-GSTIN workflows and assisted filing make it particularly relevant to organizations managing recurring compliance across several registrations.

The published plans are Basic, Pro and Pro Plus. Basic includes GST returns filing, reconciliation with consolidated GSTR1 versus 2A versus 3B reports, unlimited users and PAN-level reports. Pro adds an Invoice Management System and new billing software to the Basic feature set. Pro Plus lists the same principal capabilities as Pro, including returns filing, reconciliation, unlimited users, PAN-level reports, Invoice Management System and new billing software. According to the vendor's pricing page, plans are charged per GSTIN, exclude 18% GST and include a 2,000-document monthly limit.

GSTZen fits organizations that need more than return filing alone. Its workflow includes GSTR-2A and GSTR-2B reconciliation with purchase records, invoice actions such as accept, reject and keep pending, IRN and QR-code management for e-invoices, and E-Way Bill updates and validity management. Tally and Excel imports, GSTIN validation through an API, and integrations with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, ERP systems and billing systems support broader operational workflows. The cloud-only deployment and India-focused GST scope make it less suitable for businesses requiring on-premises software or tax compliance beyond Indian GST.
