Our verdict on GRC-COCKPIT
GRC-COCKPIT brings governance, risk and compliance processes into a web-based system from SAVISCON GmbH. It is aimed at organizations that need to identify and assess risks, track measures, and manage compliance requirements and standards alongside centralized records for organizational data. The listed standards include ISO 27001, IT-Grundschutz, ISO 31000, ISO 37301 and others. Small teams focused on standards and risk tracking can start with the core processes in Basic, while organizations seeking specialized modules should look at the higher editions.
The editions form a staged set of capabilities. Basic covers risk assessment and measures tracking, central master data and Compliance HealthCheck. Advanced adds requirements and identifications, a risk matrix with linked views, compliance topic fields, templates, archive and export. Professional includes integrated whistleblowing and event management, information security, risk scenarios and quantitative risk assessment, plus business continuity management. Its information-security module includes protection-needs analysis and a Statement of Applicability; continuity features include business impact analysis. This makes Professional a substantially broader choice than the risk-and-compliance core, while buyers needing reporting and exports should account for their availability only in Advanced and Professional.
