Our verdict on Goldfish Digital Fax
Goldfish Digital Fax is a cloud-based fax-to-email and email-to-fax service for sole traders, small businesses, and larger organisations. It lets customers receive faxes as PDF documents by email and send documents by emailing a fax number. The service supports inbound and outbound faxing, business number selection, existing-number transfer, international destinations, and digital fax processing within EU data centres. Its browser-based model suits organisations that want a straightforward email workflow rather than a broader communications platform.
Pricing is structured around usage and outbound volume. Pay as you use costs €0 in usage charges, includes unlimited inbound pages subject to fair and reasonable usage, and charges outbound sending per page. Fax 50 costs €3.99 per month for up to 50 included outbound pages, while Fax 150 costs €9.99 per month for up to 150 pages. Fax 500 costs €24.99 per month for up to 500 pages. Each monthly plan also includes unlimited inbound pages subject to fair and reasonable usage. A digital fax number is available for €5 per month and supports inbound reception. International fax tariffs apply by destination.
The main fit is for European users who value low entry pricing, occasional outbound faxing, or predictable monthly page allowances. Number portability and worldwide fax sending add flexibility, while EU storage and transmission support organisations with GDPR-related requirements. The trade-off is a narrow delivery model: Goldfish Digital Fax is web-only and has no integrations. Organisations that need connected workflows across business software, or a more integrated fax platform, should consider an alternative. For browser-and-email users with modest to medium outbound needs, its plan range and inbound coverage keep the service focused and easy to match to usage.
