Globalscape EFT is managed file transfer software for Windows-centric organizations exchanging files with employees, customers, trading partners, and internal systems. Its hybrid deployment model spans on-premises environments and cloud infrastructure, with a separate EFT Arcus SaaS offering. The platform combines SFTP and other transfer protocols with a browser-based HTTPS Web Client, folder access controls, authentication options, encryption, audit logging, and reporting. It is suited to teams that need more than a standalone SFTP server, particularly when secure exchange must connect with internal systems and external partners.

Automation is a central part of the product. Workflow rules, folder monitoring, and trigger-based actions support event-driven file handling, while REST invocation and web-service actions extend those workflows. Cloud connector actions cover Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure storage, and integrations also include Microsoft Outlook, LDAP, RADIUS, and RSA SecurID. Workspaces add controlled folder and file sharing, with the Enterprise Bundle listing unlimited Workspaces users. These capabilities make EFT a fit for organizations managing recurring, auditable transfers across multiple systems and user groups.

The published plans are quote-based rather than showing amounts. The Core Server Bundle includes FTP over SSL/TLS, HTTPS, and the Web Client. The Collaboration Bundle adds Workspaces alongside the listed SFTP Backup features, while Starter, Premium, and Enterprise are presented as comparison bundles; Enterprise lists unlimited Workspaces users. A 15-day trial is available, but there is no free plan. Choose Globalscape EFT when workflow automation, monitoring, audit reporting, SSO, sharing, APIs, and cloud connectors justify a sales-led evaluation. Organizations seeking a simple SFTP server or transparent self-service pricing should look elsewhere.
