Our verdict on Genius Fax

Genius Fax is an online fax service for sending and receiving PDF and image documents through web, iOS, and Android apps. It suits occasional fax users who want mobile access, international faxing, delivery and receipt notifications, and the ability to select documents from cloud services. Receiving requires a personal fax number subscription, while sending uses pay-as-you-go fax credits.

The published plans separate sending from receiving. Sending is pay as you go, with the same cost for all countries. Receiving costs $3.49 per month and includes a personal fax number, pay-as-you-go pricing at 19¢ per page, and unlimited storage. The service also provides free cover pages and supports international faxing to supported countries. This structure fits light or irregular use, particularly when a dedicated number is needed without a broader recurring plan.

Genius Fax covers the core online fax workflow rather than a wide business communications ecosystem. Users can send documents from the web or mobile apps, track fax history across devices, and choose files from Dropbox or Google Drive. Its feature set includes notifications and cloud document selection, but the integration list is focused. Choose Genius Fax if mobile availability, receiving through a personal number, and flexible page-based sending matter most. Users seeking extensive integrations or a plan designed around predictable high-volume faxing should consider a broader alternative.
