Our verdict on FeatQ

FeatQ is a hosted feature-request and voting board for founders and product teams, with a particularly direct fit for solo builders and small teams. Customers can submit requests, search existing ideas, and vote with an email address instead of creating an account. Teams organize requests through New, Considering, Planned, In Progress, and Done statuses, then present progress through public roadmap and changelog views. An embeddable widget brings collection into an existing application.

The published plans show three purchase paths. Monthly costs $29 per month, while Yearly costs $19 per month when billed annually. Both include a hosted feedback board, per-board MCP server, agent-ready specification generation, embeddable widget, and public changelog. Lifetime costs $199 one time and provides lifetime access to one board with the same core capabilities. Every plan includes REST API and MCP access, allowing connected tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, Grok, Lovable, Bolt, and v0 to work with request data. Email notifications can also alert voters when requests ship.

FeatQ’s narrow focus is its main advantage: it links public demand collection with an agent-oriented workflow rather than trying to cover broad product-management operations. The status model, upvotes, roadmap, changelog, and widget cover a straightforward feedback loop, while specification generation can help turn ranked requests into implementation-oriented output. Teams needing custom workflows, SSO, or a free entry tier should choose another product. For a solo builder who wants a public board, low-friction email voting, and API or MCP connectivity, FeatQ offers a compact cloud-based setup.
