Our verdict on FactorialOS

FactorialOS is a manufacturing execution platform for Indian manufacturers and multi-plant operations. It links production planning, work orders, multi-step routings, operator workstation controls, quality inspections, rework, scrap capture, lot and batch traceability, machine-state tracking and live shop-floor dashboards. Its audience includes small, mid-market and enterprise manufacturers that want execution controls alongside an existing ERP, with cloud deployment by default and a self-hosted option for qualifying deployments.

The plans scale by operational scope. Pilot covers one line, cell or workflow, up to five named users, core production and quality modules, pilot implementation and a 30-day proof-of-value review. Standard extends to a full-plant deployment with unlimited operators on the floor, all execution, quality, traceability and dashboard modules, API access for ERP and BI integrations, and standard 8×5 support with a one-business-day SLA. Enterprise adds multiple plants and sites, group reporting and rollups, a dedicated customer success manager, custom integrations and data pipelines, an on-premise option, and premium 24×7 support with a four-hour SLA. Contracts are tailored to plant scope.

Integration is central to the platform’s fit. GraphQL and REST APIs, plus connectors for SAP, Oracle, Tally and Zoho, support connections to ERP and business-intelligence systems. Web access, APIs and self-hosting provide deployment flexibility, while the AI Copilot can query plant data. Manufacturers needing detailed dispatch, digital work instructions, live status boards and production scheduling get a broad execution surface rather than a narrow scheduling tool. Organizations seeking only basic scheduling may find the platform’s quality, traceability and workstation scope more than they need.
