Our verdict on EQVPS
EQVPS provides Linux cloud VPS hosting for developers, AI agents, and traders running automated crypto or forex bots. Its plans combine root access, SSH connectivity, NVMe storage, and either NAT networking or dedicated IPv4. Ubuntu, Debian, and AlmaLinux images support common server workflows, while Freqtrade, Hummingbot, ccxt, and custom Python or Node applications are explicitly supported. Provisioning is listed at about a minute, making the service suited to workloads that need an always-on Linux environment.
Pricing is straightforward across eight monthly plans. Nano starts at $3 per month with 2 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, and 15 GB NVMe, while Micro, Small, and Medium increase resources to 2 GB, 4 GB, and 6 GB of RAM. The IP variants cost $8, $10, $16, and $20 per month and add dedicated IPv4 with all ports open. NAT plans keep the lower price but provide no public IP. Automatic VM-level backups apply on annual plans, and nightly Pro backups are also listed. Payments include USDC and USDT.
The platform fits developers who want programmatic infrastructure management: its REST API and MCP-based provisioning complement full root access and SSH. Unmetered 1 Gbit/s traffic is included, with servers in Germany and Finland. The main boundary is platform choice. EQVPS runs Linux only, so MetaTrader is unsupported and Windows-based trading setups are not a fit. Choose it for Linux crypto-bot hosting, custom automation, or AI-agent workloads; choose another provider if your strategy depends on MetaTrader or a Windows server.
