Equiinet Virtual Fax is an online fax service for businesses that send and receive faxes through email or a web account. It is aimed at small and midsize businesses that need a dedicated fax number, inbound and outbound faxing, fax alerts, and online access to fax logs. The service also stores up to 1,000 faxes, protects stored faxes with a password, and encrypts outgoing fax transmission. Instant activation and no contract make it suitable for organizations that want a direct monthly service rather than a long-term commitment.
The published plan structure is simple: Virtual Fax Service costs $15 per month, billed monthly. It includes unlimited faxing, a dedicated fax number, sending and receiving through email, fax alerts, an online account with fax logs, and no contract. Email alerts with PDF attachments can help teams handle incoming documents without repeatedly checking the web account. The plan provides a clear set of core capabilities, but the service is less compelling for buyers comparing monthly costs across providers or looking for a free entry tier.
Equiinet Virtual Fax fits workflows centered on email and a browser, with web access as its listed platform. Its narrow ecosystem can suit teams that do not need broader software connections, while organizations seeking integrations or mobile apps should consider an alternative. Security-related features include encrypted outgoing transmission and password-protected online fax storage. Choose it for simple, dedicated web faxing with unlimited use; look elsewhere if platform breadth, integrations, or a wider collaboration workflow are priorities.
