Our verdict on Enplace
Enplace brings recipe management, ingredient and plate costing, inventory, purchasing and kitchen workflows into one restaurant operations product. It is designed for independent restaurants and multi-location groups that need to connect menu costs with daily prep, station tasks, logs and purchasing. The free single-restaurant offering includes a full scheduling suite, employee app, team accounts and support for up to 15 staff, while the multi-location plan adds recipe, costing and prep workflows across locations.
Its platform fit is a central strength. Enplace lists integrations with Square, Toast, Clover, Lightspeed, Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Calendar, OpenAI, Google Sheets, MarketMan, Restaurant365 and Aloha. That gives restaurants several routes for connecting point-of-sale, accounting, communication, scheduling, spreadsheets and existing restaurant-management tools. Per-user translation also supports teams working across languages, while digital logs and temperature records extend the product beyond recipe costing.
The costing workflow is deeper than a simple ingredient-price calculator. Enplace supports unit conversions across weight, volume and each; yield, sub-recipe and batch scaling; menu-item margin visibility; and recipe updates when ingredient prices change. Inventory counts, par levels, purchasing workflows, daily prep lists, station tasks and prep label printing connect costing to kitchen execution. Restaurants that want a connected set of recipe, prep and inventory tools should consider Enplace. Those seeking immediate access may prefer an established alternative, since Enplace is presented as a private-beta product with selectively approved access.
