Our verdict on Elemental Gimmick Gear
Elemental Gimmick Gear (E.G.G.) is a role-playing game for Sega Dreamcast, published by Hudson Soft and released in Japan. It is a fit for players seeking a Japan-market RPG release, particularly those researching Dreamcast's original Japanese catalog. Its documented status is that of a legacy console game, rather than a current digital or physical store offer.
The clearest buying reference is the original Japanese listing: Sega identifies the title as a role-playing game, gives a release date of May 27, and lists its original price as ¥5,800. That is a historical release price, not a current offer. Buyers looking for a currently available purchase should not treat that figure as a present-day price. The listing supplies a firm point of reference for the game's original release, but does not establish current availability.
The available description establishes the game's platform, publisher, genre and Japanese release context, but gives no detail on gameplay features. That makes it easier to place in a catalog than to assess its play style or suitability against other RPGs. Players focused on documenting or exploring Japan-market Dreamcast releases have a clear reason to consider it; those choosing a game based on specific mechanics or looking for a currently sold edition should look for product information that addresses those needs before deciding.
