Our verdict on ElastiFlow

ElastiFlow is a network observability and traffic-analysis platform for network, security, and DevOps teams. It collects NetFlow, IPFIX, and sFlow data, then decodes, transforms, normalizes, and enriches flow records with application, cloud, network, and security metadata. Its dashboards support troubleshooting, capacity planning, bandwidth monitoring, security analysis, cost optimization, conversation analysis, and historical trend analysis. The hybrid deployment model covers Linux, API, and self-hosted environments, making ElastiFlow a fit for teams that need detailed flow visibility across varied infrastructure.

The free Basic plan provides up to 4,000 records per second and supports up to 25 devices for SNMP polling and traps. It also includes more than 40 out-of-the-box dashboards, more than 120 ML detections, and metadata enrichment, with Community Slack and ElastiFlow Forum support. Premium expands the ceiling to 1 million or more records per second and adds cloud service and application enrichment, the NetIntel threat feed, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, a non-production license, and 8x5 support. Enterprise includes Premium features plus ElastiFlow-assisted dashboards, enrichments, and training, with a dedicated support representative available 24x7. Premium and Enterprise subscriptions use customized pricing.

Integration breadth is a central strength. ElastiFlow can connect with Elasticsearch, Elastic Cloud, OpenSearch, AWS OpenSearch Service, Apache Kafka, Confluent Platform, Redpanda, Splunk, and Cribl Stream, supporting organizations that already operate these analytics, streaming, or security platforms. Its standout capability is the combination of flow collection, application identification, contextual enrichment, conversation analysis, and ML detections in one workflow. Choose ElastiFlow when enriched flow analytics and integrations matter more than a simple bandwidth dashboard. Smaller networks can start with Basic, while higher-volume or support-intensive environments should consider Premium or Enterprise.
