DongTai IAST is an open-source Interactive Application Security Testing platform for development and security teams that need runtime visibility into web applications. Language-specific agents instrument applications, monitor runtime traffic and data flows, and send collected information to the DongTai Server for analysis. The platform supports SaaS access as well as localized deployment, making it suitable for organizations that want an IAST workflow without committing to a closed-source product model.

Its strongest technical angle is the combination of passive runtime testing, agent-based instrumentation, and taint-flow analysis. DongTai IAST can identify vulnerabilities from observed application behavior and produce vulnerability reports with detailed analysis.
