Our verdict on District Analytics

District Analytics brings student information, assessment, survey and other district data into a district-owned warehouse, then presents it through dashboards, AI chat and a report builder. Its California K–12 focus makes it most relevant to district teams tracking attendance, discipline, grades, assessments, enrollment and LCAP goals. Staff can break dashboards down by school, grade and student group, while role-based access controls apply across dashboards, chat, reports and exports.

The LCAP suite is a defining part of the product rather than a generic reporting add-on. It monitors goals and metrics against targets, supports target setting, and can draft plan sections using prior plans and current-year metrics. For districts that need to connect performance reporting with LCAP work, that combination can reduce the gap between reviewing indicators and preparing planning materials. Teams seeking analytics outside this California planning context may find the product’s focus less aligned with their needs.

For exploration and reporting, AI chat answers questions using district data and shows the data and filters behind its responses. The report builder lets staff choose row types, columns and filters, and outputs can be exported as PNG, PDF, CSV or Excel. Listed integrations include Aeries, i-Ready, NWEA MAP Growth, Renaissance Star and Google Sheets. The vendor describes implementation as collaborative, with data connections, access configuration and staff training; prospective customers are invited to book a demo, and pricing is handled through sales. District Analytics fits mid-market and enterprise districts that need the listed data views and LCAP capabilities, but may not suit buyers seeking published pricing or a broader integration ecosystem.
