DigitalOcean Immich is a cloud Droplet image for people who want to host their own Immich photo and video library rather than use a managed Immich service. The one-click image includes Immich and Docker Compose, while DigitalOcean supplies the underlying compute. It is a fit for solo users and small setups comfortable administering a Linux server; it is not a hands-off hosting option.
The published configuration lists a Basic Droplet with 4 GiB of memory and 2 vCPU at $24 per month, billed monthly. That price covers Droplet compute for self-managed Immich, not a separate managed hosting plan. The image provides a quick initial deployment through the DigitalOcean control panel or API, and SSH access lets owners work with the server, configuration files, environment, and services.
