Our verdict on Currents
Currents is a cloud-based test analytics dashboard, reporter, and test orchestrator centered on Playwright. It collects traces, screenshots, videos, console output, metadata, and failure details from CI runs, then presents test history, execution health, failure analysis, flaky-test monitoring, and trends. Software development and QA teams can also use it with Cypress, WebdriverIO, Jest, Vitest, Node.js Test Runner, and JUnit-compatible frameworks. Its strongest fit is a Playwright team that wants more than pass/fail reporting and needs orchestration alongside analytics.
Pricing is straightforward across the published monthly plans. Scale costs $49 per month and includes 50 users, unlimited projects, up to one year of data retention, 10K test results per month, and SOC2 Type 2 compliance.
