Creately is a web-based visual collaboration platform for teams, educators, and individuals that need more than a basic whiteboard. Its infinite canvas supports diagramming with shape libraries and connectors, brainstorming templates, real-time multiplayer collaboration, comments, discussion threads, voting sessions, and presentation mode with slides and speaker notes. It also brings project-management views such as Kanban boards and timelines into the same workspace. Visual teams that move between workshops, planning, diagrams, and presentations will find the broadest fit here; users seeking a narrowly focused whiteboard may not need all of these capabilities.
The plan structure scales from a Free option to Starter, Team, Business, and Enterprise. Free includes unlimited canvases, 45 items per workspace, limited storage, and basic collaboration. Starter adds premium shape libraries, premium templates, 1,000 items per canvas, and 30-day version history. Team raises the limit to 1,500 items per canvas and adds advanced collaboration, multiple named users, and an account management portal. Business raises it to 3,000 items per canvas and adds guest access, Microsoft Teams integration, and project-management tools. Enterprise includes unlimited items per workspace, unlimited storage, SSO login, and custom enterprise services. A 7-day free trial is available for Business.
Creately’s ecosystem includes Microsoft Teams, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian Services, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Confluence Cloud. Exports support image, SVG, CSV, and PDF formats, while data linking and multiple views help connect visual work with structured information. The main trade-off is focus: the product covers collaboration, diagramming, workshops, presentations, and project views, but it is available on the web rather than across listed desktop or mobile platforms. Choose it when a visual team wants these functions in one workspace; choose a simpler tool when diagramming or whiteboarding alone is the priority.
