Connecteam review
A flexible scheduling and workforce platform with a free starting plan.

Connecteam is a workforce management and employee scheduling application for deskless and frontline teams, including gyms coordinating staff across shifts and locations. Managers can create schedules using shift, employee, and job views; collect availability; approve time-off requests; publish open shifts; and coordinate replacements or swaps. Employees can view schedules, claim qualified open shifts, submit availability, request time off, and request shift changes from mobile devices. The platform also includes GPS time clocks, timesheets, tasks, checklists, forms, internal chat, updates, and an employee directory.
Its freemium pricing gives smaller gyms a low-commitment starting point. Small Business is free for businesses with fewer than 10 employees, while Limited is free for life for teams larger than 10 and fewer than 30 users. Operations Basic costs $29 per month for the first 30 users with annual billing or $35 with monthly billing, adding basic scheduling with open shifts, unlimited jobs, and payroll integration. Operations Advanced costs $49 annually billed or $59 monthly for the first 30 users, adding repeating shifts, templates, advanced filters, and a shareable live schedule link. Operations Expert costs $99 annually billed or $119 monthly, adding automatic shift assignment, up to 12 schedules, and API access. A 14-day free trial is also available.
Connecteam suits gyms that want scheduling alongside time tracking, task coordination, communication, and workforce administration rather than a narrowly focused roster tool. Its web, iOS, and Android apps support staff access across devices, while integrations include Gusto, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Paychex Flex, PrismHR, MYOB Business, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Run, BambooHR, and Zapier. The product is a good fit for small teams starting free or growing into payroll-connected scheduling. Gyms that only need a simple schedule may find its wider workforce feature set more than they need, while teams above 30 users should account for additional-user pricing.
