Combell Managed WordPress is a hosted WordPress service for individuals, small businesses and larger organizations. WordPress comes pre-installed, while automatic WordPress and plugin updates, daily backups, staging environments, caching, malware scanning, SSL certificates, DDoS protection, monitoring and website transfers cover the main responsibilities of managed hosting. The service runs on the web and includes an AI Site Assistant for website creation and editing. Each plan supports one WordPress website.
The three paid plans mainly scale storage, databases, backup retention, test environments and mailboxes. Business includes 50 GB SSD webspace, one test environment, two 1 GB databases, daily backups retained for 14 days and 50 mailboxes of 25 GB each. Professional increases those allowances to 100 GB, two test environments, three 5 GB databases, 30-day backup retention and 500 mailboxes. Expert provides 250 GB, three test environments, four 10 GB databases, 30-day backup retention and 750 mailboxes. All three plans include 24/7 support, making the choice primarily about capacity and collaboration needs rather than a different core hosting feature set.
For day-to-day site administration, one-click backup restoration, Varnish caching, uptime and performance monitoring, malware quarantine and a free website transfer service address common operational needs. The setup is also suited to teams that want separate environments for changes before publishing them. However, malware removal is not included in the hosting plans; it is available through the separately priced SiteSweep service. Businesses seeking managed WordPress basics, staging and included operational safeguards should consider Combell.
