CitySquares is a consumer-facing local business directory for finding businesses by neighborhood, city, category, and search query. Businesses can submit listings for free, claim existing profiles, change ownership, update details, report duplicates, and collect user reviews and ratings. Enhanced listings can include images, video, hours, email, website, and social links. Agencies and enterprises managing multiple locations can use the API Partner Plan to manage listings across the web and API platforms.

The Standard listing plan provides free business listing submission. The Premium listing plan adds control over listing presentation, including no ads or featured businesses on the listing, promotion in search and category results, special-offer promotion, and featured placement on other listings. The API Partner Plan costs $0.12 USD per listing under management per month, billed monthly, with a $20 monthly minimum. It adds the ability to claim, create, and update listings, retrieve listing data, suppress duplicates, and use enhanced listing fields.

CitySquares is most suitable for local businesses, agencies, and enterprises that need directory coverage and multi-location listing controls without a large starting subscription. The API minimum may make the plan less suitable for organizations managing only a small number of listings. The product also separates promotional listing features from API management, so teams may need to choose between plans based on whether their priority is visibility or operational control. Organizations seeking a directory outside local business discovery, or a single workflow combining every paid capability, should consider an alternative.
