Citrus is an open-source vector database for storing embeddings and performing semantic similarity search. It is aimed at teams building retrieval-augmented generation, recommendation engines, website chatbots, and search across content such as articles, podcasts, and tweets. The product supports both managed cloud infrastructure and self-hosting, with persistent local storage for self-managed deployments.
