Check Point CloudGuard Workload Protection includes Image Assurance for organizations that need container image visibility and policy enforcement across the image lifecycle. It scans images discovered in Kubernetes clusters and connected registries, as well as images moving through CI/CD pipelines with the ShiftLeft Scan Engine. The product supports cloud and self-hosted deployment models, with web and API access, and is positioned for small, mid-market and enterprise teams managing Docker, OCI or Kaniko-built images.
Its ecosystem coverage is a central strength. Supported connections include Azure Container Registry, Amazon Elastic Container Registry, Docker Hub, Google Container Registry, Google Artifact Registry, Harbor, JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, GitHub Container Registry and Quay.io. Kubernetes and AWS ECS are also listed integrations. This gives teams a way to scan images across common registry and orchestration environments rather than limiting analysis to one repository type.
