Our verdict on ChatGPT
ChatGPT is OpenAI’s conversational AI assistant for individuals and teams that need help with information, creation, analysis, and work. It answers questions, explains concepts, drafts and summarizes content, translates languages, reasons through problems, searches the web, analyzes uploaded files and structured data, generates and edits images, and supports voice conversations. The free plan provides unlimited text chats, with limits on file uploads, image generation, web search, deep research, memory, and context. Teams can use ChatGPT Business for a shared workspace with administrative controls, connected apps, and shared company context.
The plan structure is designed around increasing access to tools and advanced capabilities. Go adds more messages with tools, uploads, image creation, voice chats, and longer memory. Plus adds advanced reasoning models, expanded messages and uploads, expanded image creation, projects, custom GPTs, and expanded deep research.
