Our verdict on CDNsun
CDNsun delivers cached website content, software and games, and live or on-demand video. It is aimed at teams distributing media or software that also want CDN storage, cache controls, access policies, and reporting in one service. The platform is available through a web dashboard and API, with integrations for WordPress, Magento, and Discourse. Its 15-day trial gives prospective customers a way to evaluate the service before committing to paid usage.
Storage and delivery are a central part of the offering: uploads are supported through FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and HTTPS API, as well as RSYNC. Teams can configure caching, purging, prefetching, and cache expiry, then use URL signing, password protection, and country, IP, or hotlinking policies to control access. CDNsun also provides usage, live, real-time, and raw access reports, plus a REST API and dashboard management. Its listed network spans 30 points of presence across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Africa. Origin shielding is configured through one or more CDN services, rather than as a separate product.
The Business plan includes 20 websites, streaming, storage, and a $0 minimum monthly spending requirement; Custom includes unlimited websites, streaming, storage, and a $200 minimum monthly spending requirement. Pricing is usage-based, with regional per-gigabyte rates. Choose CDNsun if those delivery and storage capabilities fit your workload and you value configurable access and cache controls. Teams that need image optimization or edge compute should look elsewhere, and organizations requiring a broader edge network may find the listed footprint limiting.
