Carbyne provides cloud-based emergency communications software for public safety answering points and emergency contact centers. Its APEX platform handles emergency calls with caller location, live video, and messaging, and adds AI-assisted triage, transcription, and translation. Agencies focused on handling and coordinating emergency calls are the clearest fit, particularly when they want to share incident information with responders in the field. Carbyne also offers administration, wallboards, analytics, and incident history alongside its call-handling capabilities.

The platform connects with computer-aided dispatch systems, Emergency Services IP Networks, voice recorders, mapping solutions, Text-to-911, single sign-on, and IoT devices. It can export call data to CAD systems, while Responder Connect shares caller video and location with field responders. Control Center covers user roles, contacts, and system configuration; wallboards show call queues, staff status, and seat maps.
