Our verdict on Breezy Weather
Breezy Weather is a free, open-source weather app for Android, aimed at people who want to choose among multiple forecast sources and tailor how weather appears on their device. It combines forecast and observation data from more than 50 sources, with daily and hourly forecasts stated up to 16 days. Users can also see next-hour precipitation, severe-weather and precipitation alerts, air quality and pollen information. Location use is optional, and the project says the app does not collect personal data. It suits Android users who value configurability and open-source software more than Google Play availability or radar.
The app’s depth lies in pairing source choice with display options. It includes detailed 24-hour charts, widgets, live wallpaper, custom weather icon packs and automatic dark mode. A separate flavor limits sources to free-network options, while an opt-in feature can share weather data with other apps. Gadgetbridge is the listed integration. These options make Breezy Weather a fit for people who want forecasts presented in several ways or need weather information beyond temperature and conditions.
