BOSSDesk is an IT help desk and service management platform for organizations handling service requests, incidents, assets, and workflows. It combines ticketing with a self-service portal, knowledge base, service catalog, approvals, SLA management, and reporting. Cloud and on-premise deployment options, plus mobile apps for iOS and Android, make it relevant to teams with different hosting and technician-access needs. Its broad scope suits small, mid-market, and enterprise organizations that want help desk and asset management capabilities together.

According to the vendor's pricing page, plans are priced per paid user per month and billed annually. Essentials costs $29 and includes Active Directory integration, dashboards and reports, software inventory, remote tools, and the mobile application. Professional costs $49 and adds incident management, the self-service portal, knowledge-base management, workflow management, SLA management, and approvals. Enterprise costs $69 and adds problem and change management, an unlimited service catalog, SAML single sign-on, API access, a chat module, and contract, facilities, vendor, and purchase management. The homepage advertises a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.

The breadth is useful if one system needs to cover both IT and non-IT assets alongside service workflows. Integrations include Slack, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Zapier, Dell, Lenovo, and TeamViewer; the knowledge base also includes ChatGPT integration. Buyers should note that several core ITSM functions, including problem and change management, are reserved for Enterprise, while Essentials is narrower. Choose BOSSDesk if deployment choice and combined ticketing and asset tracking matter; teams needing those higher-tier functions at a lower plan level may prefer a more narrowly scoped help desk product.
