BoardCloud is board portal software for company secretaries, directors, committees, businesses and not-for-profit organisations. It brings board-pack creation and distribution, meeting scheduling, document management, minutes, resolutions, voting, electronic signatures and governance tracking into one workspace. Its role-based access controls, committee libraries, full-text search, audit logs, forms and surveys support organisations managing recurring board and committee processes.

Pricing is organised around cloud-hosted Standard and self-hosted or private-cloud Enterprise editions. Standard includes unlimited users plus unlimited support and training. Enterprise Non-Profit Edition is priced at 1500 per year and includes unlimited users and committees, full onboarding service and a 30-day free trial. Enterprise Business Edition is priced at 3000 per year with the same deployment, onboarding, access and trial features. The published plans make BoardCloud a fit for organisations seeking an annual governance suite rather than a free board portal.

BoardCloud runs through the web and API, with integrations for Microsoft Teams, Zoom and SharePoint; the vendor also says no apps are required. Its standout strength is breadth: board packs, revision tracking, calendars, minutes, voting, signatures, search, analytics, audit logs, AI transcription and summarisation, and surveys cover much of the governance cycle. Organisations needing private-cloud or self-hosted deployment should consider Enterprise. Smaller boards seeking a lightweight meeting tool, or buyers who require dedicated mobile applications, may prefer a narrower alternative.

    • AI summaries, audit logs, search and analytics support governance work
  • Where it doesn't
    • Standard pricing is not displayed
    • Web and API access only, with no dedicated apps required
    • Advanced capabilities may exceed the needs of small boards
