Our verdict on Belter
Belter helps customer experience leaders, QA managers, analysts, and agents evaluate customer-service conversations across chat, tickets, and phone. Its AI scores interactions against configurable rubrics and provides reasoning by criterion. The product also includes audit sessions, blind calibration, coaching workflows, compliance checks, and contact-driver reporting. That breadth makes it relevant to teams that want QA to cover more than scorecards, while its free and lower-cost plans give smaller teams a way to begin.
The plan structure is straightforward at the entry levels. Free costs $0 per month and includes 100 evaluated conversations, core features, and community support; the vendor says no credit card is required. Starter costs $19 per agent per month, billed monthly, and adds all integrations for chat, ticket, and phone, multi-brand support, and email support. Pro costs $39 per agent per month and adds the option to bring your own OpenAI key and priority support. Enterprise lists SSO/SAML with JIT provisioning, custom RBAC and audit log retention, a dedicated CSM, and a 99.9% uptime SLA. Teams should compare the per-agent cost with their evaluation volume and support needs.
Belter’s strongest fit is teams that need a shared QA process across channels: versioned rubrics preserve scoring-change history, audit and blind calibration support alignment among analysts, and coaching notes, sessions, goals, and dashboards connect findings to agent development. Compliance checks can detect PII, while contact-driver analytics and repeat-contact root-cause reporting help identify patterns beyond individual scores. Connections include Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, and phone systems such as RingCentral and Amazon Connect; a web app and API are also available. Choose Belter if multichannel scoring and these linked QA workflows matter. Teams seeking a free plan for more than 100 evaluated conversations should account for that cap, and organizations that do not need coaching, calibration, or analytics may prefer a narrower QA tool.
