Autodesk Netfabb is desktop software for preparing additive manufacturing jobs, aimed at additive engineers, industrial designers, and mechanical engineers. Its workflow covers importing, analyzing, repairing, orienting, arranging, supporting, slicing, and preparing 3D models for production. The feature set is suited to industrial teams working across multiple additive manufacturing processes and machine types, rather than users seeking a lightweight model-preparation utility.
The published plans show a free option alongside paid commercial tiers and a 30-day free trial. Netfabb Standard focuses on preparing and modifying 3D models for additive manufacture. Netfabb Premium adds production-process optimization and automation, advanced build supports, automatic 3D packing, and complex lattice generation. Netfabb Ultimate adds advanced design optimization, Lua scripting automation, advanced toolpathing, and lattice optimization. Autodesk also describes annual and three-year subscription options.
