Our verdict on Atomic

For brands, manufacturers, retailers, grocers and other businesses that handle physical goods, Atomic brings demand, purchasing, production and inventory planning into a cloud platform. Its planning model works at the SKU, site, supplier and week level. Teams can use it to review forecasts, generate purchase-order recommendations, plan production and MRP, and manage allocation, transfers and replenishment. That makes it relevant to organizations looking for connected planning across the supply chain rather than a tool focused on forecasting alone.

The breadth of planning is a central strength. Planners can simulate scenarios and compare them with a plan of record, while version history, approvals and auditable overrides support controlled changes. An AI interface can answer questions about plans, test scenarios and draft planning rules. Atomic connects with NetSuite, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Oracle, as well as WMS and 3PL systems, sales channels, data lakes and planning tools including Kinaxis, o9, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Relex and Anaplan. Approved execution decisions can be sent back to the ERP. The platform also offers email and chat support and lists SOC 2 compliance.

Atomic is sold by annual subscription, with pricing scoped to cost of goods and deployment scope and quoted after a discovery call. There is no free plan, so evaluation requires a commercial conversation. The website describes dedicated cloud environments and says single-tenant deployment is available; the listed deployment model is cloud. Teams seeking unit-level, end-to-end planning with connections to existing business systems should consider it. Organizations that require on-premises deployment or a free starting tier should look elsewhere.
