Our verdict on Archstone
Archstone is hosted fund-operations and accounting-control software for emerging GPs, private-equity firms, syndicators, search-fund operators, and other private-capital managers. It brings together an LP investor portal, investor reporting, capital-call workflows, distribution notices, waterfall calculations, capital accounts, data rooms, portfolio tracking, deal pipelines, compliance tracking, fund finance, and AI-assisted workflows. The product is software rather than a fund administrator, bank, custodian, payment processor, transfer agent, adviser, or fiduciary, so it is aimed at teams that want operational infrastructure rather than outsourced administration.
The published plans show a 14-day free trial and monthly paid pricing. Starter costs $297 per month and includes all 12 modules, Archie AI, the LP portal, capital calls, and email support. Pro costs $497 per month and adds unlimited LPs and portfolio companies, five team seats, three funds, unlimited shareable links, and priority support. Enterprise uses a custom enterprise agreement with custom service levels, support, and integrations. This structure gives smaller teams a clear entry point while offering a path to expanded capacity and collaboration, although there is no free plan.
Archstone’s main strength is breadth across fund operations and adjacent workflows. Its integrations include accounting, scheduling, CRM, payments, banking, document signing, storage, communications, and data tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, Mercury, DocuSign, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams. Archie AI supports natural-language workflows and document analysis, while portfolio metrics, anomaly detection, deal rooms, and compliance tracking extend the platform beyond core investor administration. Choose Archstone if you want one connected system for fund and investment operations with broad integrations. A narrower tool may suit teams that need only a specific administration function or prefer a dedicated third-party administrator.
