Our verdict on AppArch Engineering Analytics

AppArch Engineering Analytics is an engineering visibility product for engineering leaders, DevOps teams and software organizations that need source-linked delivery and reliability reporting. It brings merge-request flow analysis, DORA metrics, Jira delivery-flow reporting, findings tracking, portfolio views and AI-assisted code impact into one board. Developer contribution and profile views are available with project-level opt-in, while deployment and incident connections support reliability reporting.

Its main strength is breadth across the software delivery lifecycle. Merge-request reporting covers review time, size, merge velocity and bottlenecks; Jira analysis shows wait times and backflows; and the findings funnel follows work from opened to resolved. Portfolio views add project scores, findings and trends. Connections include GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, Argo CD, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, New Relic, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI and Google Gemini. Teams wanting one analytics layer across code, delivery, incidents and AI-related review work will find the feature coverage well aligned.

Pricing and onboarding favor organizations prepared for a managed evaluation. The On-premise licence includes all eight modules, a management area, setup wizard, offline licence verification, installation guidance and email support. An evaluation is available for seven days, but there is no perpetual free plan, and current self-serve SaaS signups are closed for this period. Deployment options include cloud and self-hosted, while the active pricing emphasis is on quoted annual on-premise licences. AppArch suits small, mid-market and enterprise teams that need on-premise analytics and can involve sales and installation support; teams seeking transparent self-serve pricing or a free ongoing tier should choose another product.
