AntiCheatAddition is an open-source, self-hosted Spigot plugin for Minecraft servers that need checks beyond general cheat detection. Its coverage spans automated behavior involving eating, fishing, potion use, tool switching, and totem refills; inventory actions; duplication patterns; packet and rotation analysis; scaffold and tower building; client modifications; and selected malicious content. It is intended for server administrators focused on abnormal behavior, exploit prevention, and targeted enforcement rather than a single narrow cheat category.
The plugin is configured through YAML files, with adjustable violation thresholds and server-command execution when detections occur. Enforcement can cancel or block actions, kick players, delete suspicious books, command blocks, and potions, disable selected client-mod features, or hide information such as item durability, enchantments, counts, health, and selected player visibility data.
