altaFlow is a no-code document workflow platform for professional services teams that generate proposals, statements of work, and change orders from engagement records. Its templates, conditional logic, and dynamic tables can structure deliverables, milestones, rates, and assumptions; internal approvals can happen before client signature. The strongest fit is for teams that want signed scope and pricing connected to CRM records, rather than a standalone document editor.

The workflow covers document creation through record updates. Teams can reuse templates, automate notifications and reminders, collect e-signatures, and track signing status. Activity logs include signer details, IP address, and timestamps, while completed documents and signed values can be written back to engagement records. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and NetSuite are supported for CRM synchronization; Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint are also listed integrations. Web, iOS, Android, and API access are available, making this a workflow-oriented option for organizations already working across those systems.

Pricing is paid and starts with Standard at $1.40 per document, not per user. Standard includes web forms, PDF generation, audit trail, mobile app, built-in automation, and customized email branding. Advanced adds DocX generation, bulk send, autostarts, payment collection, and chat support; Enterprise adds SSO, multi-tenancy, API access, white-labeled signing, HIPAA support with a signed BAA, and a dedicated account manager. Advanced and Enterprise have custom rates. Buyers should weigh document volume against the per-document model and seek a different approach if they need published pricing for those higher tiers or do not need CRM-linked approvals and write-back.

altaFlow pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Build SOWs from record data with conditional logic and dynamic scope tables.
    • Route internal scope and rate approvals before sending documents to clients.
    • Write signed scope and rates back to Salesforce, Dynamics 365, and NetSuite records.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Standard is priced per document, so costs vary with document volume.
    • Advanced and Enterprise use custom rates rather than published prices.
    • Its CRM-centered workflow may not suit teams seeking a standalone SOW builder.
