Our verdict on Aliyun Drive

Aliyun Drive is a consumer cloud drive from Alibaba Group for storing, managing, exploring, and sharing content. It is aimed at individuals who want straightforward personal file access across devices, with a free plan and clients for web, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. The service also supports mini-program and TV access. It is a personal online drive rather than Alibaba Cloud File Storage NAS, so it suits personal storage needs rather than buyers seeking a cloud file-system service.

The main practical strength is continuity across desktop and mobile. Windows and Mac desktop clients include local automatic sync, while mobile apps provide access away from a computer and the web interface offers another route to files. Sharing is part of the service's stated scope. That makes Aliyun Drive a reasonable fit for a solo user who wants a simple way to store and reach personal content from several kinds of device; the published feature set centers on core drive functions rather than advanced storage capabilities.

Pricing is freemium: a free plan is available, and the official page shows Super Member options with 8 TB for one month at CNY 30 or one year at CNY 360. The service agreement distinguishes free service from paid membership, which may have different capacity and features. Buyers comparing plans should weigh the paid capacity against their needs, while users who only need basic personal sync can start with the free option. Choose another service if your requirement is specifically a cloud file-system product or a broader set of advanced storage capabilities.
