Our verdict on Aiseesoft Background Remover
Aiseesoft Background Remover is a browser-based AI image editor for removing and replacing backgrounds in portraits, pets, graphics, product images, social media images, and personal projects. It combines automatic portrait removal with standard object recognition and manual outline selection. After removing a background, users can refine edges, crop, rotate, move, preview changes in real time, and export the result. Replacement backgrounds can use colors or local images, while uploaded images are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
Pricing is credit-based. The free trial includes three credits after signing up, while images smaller than 500px wide can be processed without an account. Monthly plans cost $9.99 for 100 credits, $19.99 for 300 credits, $24.99 for 500 credits, $39.99 for 1000 credits, or $99.99 for 5000 credits. Each monthly plan supports output up to 4096×4096 pixels and stores history for 7 days. One-time Lifetime plans cost $29.99 for 100 credits or $59.99 for 300 credits; credits do not expire unless exhausted. The paid tiers suit users who need repeated high-resolution exports, but usage remains tied to the selected credit allowance.
The product’s strongest fit is portrait-focused editing where automatic removal needs manual correction and a replacement background. Its editing controls offer more depth than a simple one-click cutout tool, including edge refinement and repositioning. The trade-offs matter for larger workflows: it is web-only, has no batch or API support, and commercial use is not supported. Users editing personal images or occasional product visuals should find the feature set appropriately focused. Teams processing many assets, developers needing integration, and businesses requiring commercial rights should choose an alternative instead.
