Our verdict on AI Video
AI Video is an iOS photo-animation app from MomentumLab AI that turns a single photo into a short AI-generated video or a stylized image. It is aimed at people who want quick, effect-based social content rather than a broader video-editing workspace. Its library covers more than 100 video and photo effects, including facial expressions, lip-sync, cinematic camera movements, dance, music performance, pet, transformation, filter, and image-restyling effects.
Pricing is built around credits rather than a single subscription structure. The available options include 35 Credits, 70 Credits, and 140 Credits, each described as a credit pack with no subscription required. Separate 15 Video Credits, 25 Video Credits, and 50 Video Credits plans provide video credit purchases. The Starter and Pro plans provide weekly credit allocations. The listed starting price is 2.99. This structure suits occasional creators who prefer buying credits, while weekly plans are more relevant for recurring production.
The product's strongest fit is fast visual experimentation on a phone. Live effect previews help with browsing, and results can be saved to the device or shared to social platforms. Face animation, lip-sync, and camera-motion effects give the app more range than a basic photo filter tool, but the five-second maximum clip length keeps the output firmly in the short-form category. Choose AI Video for mobile-first photo effects and compact social clips; choose a broader video tool if you need longer projects, desktop access, or more extensive editing controls.
