Our verdict on AgileLaw
AgileLaw is cloud-based legal exhibit management software for litigators, law firms, court reporters, and legal teams. It organizes materials for witness preparation, depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, and briefs. Teams can upload and search case files, share exhibits in real time, mark and number documents, add private or witness annotations, play video and audio, view Excel files, and automate exhibit citations in Microsoft Word. Access spans web, Windows, iOS, and Android for remote, hybrid, and in-person proceedings.
The pricing structure separates participation from hosting. Starter is free to join and includes digital exhibit stamps, Standard Viewer, and unlimited participant sessions, while hosted sessions cost $195 each. Essentials costs $200 per month for five host sessions and adds private annotations, witness annotations, Presentation Mode, and callouts. Advantage costs $500 per month for 20 host sessions, Multimedia Viewer, Spreadsheet Viewer, automatic OCR, keyword search, and five Briefs seats. Enterprise adds custom sessions, user limits, and storage, plus a dedicated account manager, single sign-on, and HIPAA compliance.
AgileLaw fits teams that need exhibit control across several devices and proceedings, with case-level permissions and multi-role access. Its integrations with Relativity, Clio, Box, Dropbox, and Microsoft Word support common legal workflows, while automatic logs and exhibit citation automation add structure to document handling. The main constraint is its hosted-session pricing, especially for teams with frequent proceedings, and the platform has no offline access. Teams seeking connected collaboration, multimedia handling, and searchable case materials should consider AgileLaw; teams needing offline operation or lower-cost hosting may prefer an alternative.
