Our verdict on Advvy

Advvy combines media planning, campaign workflow management and reporting for media agencies and brands. It is aimed at teams that already plan in Excel and want to carry that work into interactive campaign plans, aggregate plans across clients or regions, and track planned versus booked investment. Its workflow also covers digital authorisations and historical investment reporting, making it relevant to agencies coordinating media activity across markets or client teams.

Excel is central to the product’s fit. Teams can map existing media plan templates and sync plans with Advvy campaign records in both directions, rather than starting from a different planning format. Within the platform, interactive plans can be pivoted by dimensions such as media type, market and network, then combined into master plans and flow charts. Multiple-currency planning converts figures to a base currency. Power BI reporting supports planned-versus-booked views, while historical media investment data can be imported. These capabilities favor agencies seeking continuity with Excel alongside broader campaign-level views; teams that do not rely on Excel may find this emphasis less relevant.

Advvy lists integrations with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, Office 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint and PowerApps, as well as Slack, JIRA and Trello. The product is available on web and Windows, with an API also listed. It supports agency-controlled, brand-controlled and full-service operating models, and includes digital authorisations with signatures and timestamps. According to the vendor’s pricing model, buyers contact sales for pricing rather than choosing from published tiers. Email is the listed support channel, and two-factor authentication is listed as a compliance feature. Agencies seeking Excel-linked planning and consolidated reporting should consider Advvy; teams prioritizing published pricing or defined channel coverage should compare alternatives.
