Specifications are listed by Portronics on the Apollo Prime product page and its Apollo Prime support article. The support article was modified on 21 September, but the year is not established in the available listing.
How long does the battery last?
Portronics advertises “Up to 5 Hours Playtime” and lists a 2000mAh speaker battery. Five hours is a maximum manufacturer claim, not a guarantee for every listening session; no independent runtime measurement is available here. The actual duration for a particular use cannot be established from the published specification alone.

Which audio sources can it play?
The listed options are Bluetooth 5.3, AUX, USB and microSD/TF. That gives you a choice of wireless pairing, a wired AUX connection, or playback from USB or a supported memory card. The product materials identify these input types but do not specify supported file formats or storage limits.
How to connect the speaker over Bluetooth
- Turn on the Apollo Prime.
- Press the M button until the speaker is in Bluetooth mode.
- On your phone or other playback device, open its Bluetooth settings, find the speaker in the available-device list and pair with it.

Charging and basic troubleshooting
- Charging indicator: The support page says the red light stays on while charging and turns off when the speaker is fully charged.
- No sound: Check the speaker volume and confirm that the selected mode matches the source you are using.
- AUX, USB or microSD/TF playback fails: Reconnect the AUX lead or reinsert the USB device or card, then select the corresponding mode.
- Microphone controls: Follow the power and volume instructions in Portronics’ support article; its control table explains the short and long button presses.
If those steps do not fix the issue, raise a support request with Portronics through its support site.

When comparing it with other Portronics speakers, use published specifications such as output, claimed playtime, included microphones, inputs, charging and portability. Portronics’ portable-speaker collection lists other models, but the materials cited here do not provide independent comparative sound measurements. They are not enough to establish that one model sounds better than another.
