Which phone is better for performance?
POCO lists the X7 Pro with a Dimensity 8400-Ultra, while TECNO lists the POVA 8 Pro 5G with a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G. That places the POCO in the stronger position on paper, but the available specifications do not establish a quantified real-world performance gap. No comparable, methodologically transparent performance test is available here.

POCO also reports 14.5 hours of continuous use in testing by POCO Internal Labs; the page says actual results may vary and does not state a test date. It also lists task-specific internal figures—more than 20 hours of video, more than 17 hours of music, more than 12 hours of navigation and more than 8 hours of PUBG play. These are vendor test claims, not independent comparisons with TECNO. See POCO’s X7 Pro features page.
Display: larger screen or higher resolution?
TECNO’s 6.78-inch panel is slightly larger and has the higher listed maximum refresh rate, up to 144Hz. POCO’s 6.67-inch screen has the higher stated pixel resolution at 2712 × 1220, compared with TECNO’s 2644 × 1208. Refresh rate, resolution and screen size describe different aspects of the display; which matters most depends on whether you prioritize screen area, sharpness or supported motion smoothness.

Both brands advertise peak brightness figures, but the stated modes differ. The numbers should not be used to conclude that one display is brighter in comparable real-world conditions.
Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
TECNO lists a 6500mAh battery, compared with POCO’s 6000mAh typical capacity. The higher listed capacity may appeal if battery size is a priority, but capacity alone does not establish which phone lasts longer: actual endurance depends on usage and other conditions.

POCO lists 90W HyperCharge and TECNO lists 45W Super Charge. The POCO therefore has the faster listed wired-charging specification. These wattage ratings do not establish a specific charging time; conditions and the charging setup affect results.
Camera comparison: similar rear-camera specifications
Both phones list a 50MP OIS main rear camera and an 8MP ultrawide. POCO lists a 20MP front camera, while TECNO lists a 13MP front camera. These specifications alone do not establish photo or video quality, and no hands-on comparative camera test is available to determine which phone takes better pictures.
