The POCO M7 Pro 5G is the more practical pick on paper if you want a larger screen, a headphone jack, microSD flexibility and a lower observed price. The vivo X300 FE is the more capable-specification option, with a smaller body, a listed Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, three rear cameras including a telephoto, a larger battery capacity and faster wired charging. Their observed India prices are too inconsistent to establish a reliable current price difference.

Which phone has the better screen and size?
Choose POCO for a larger viewing area
The M7 Pro’s 6.67-inch display is 0.36 inches larger diagonally than the X300 FE’s 6.31-inch screen. That gives POCO the larger-screen specification for video, reading and other activities where screen area matters. Both manufacturers list AMOLED panels and refresh rates of up to or at 120Hz, respectively.
Choose vivo for a more compact body
The X300 FE is about 11.6mm shorter and 3.9mm narrower than the POCO, while the listed thickness is the same. Their listed weights are nearly identical: 191g for vivo and 190g for POCO. The dimensions suggest vivo will take up less space in a hand or pocket, but they do not establish comfort for every user.

How do the cameras differ?
The POCO has a 50MP OIS main camera alongside a 2MP depth camera. The vivo adds dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide cameras to its 50MP OIS main camera, making its listed rear-camera setup more versatile across different framing options.
Vivo specifies 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom for the 50MP telephoto camera. Optical and digital zoom are different: the former is a hardware camera specification, while a large digital-zoom figure does not by itself establish image quality at that magnification. The X300 FE also lists a 50MP autofocus front camera, compared with the POCO’s 20MP front camera. Megapixel counts and camera hardware do not prove which phone takes better real-world photos; no independent camera testing is established here.
Which has the stronger processor and battery specifications?
Vivo lists a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor with a maximum frequency of 3.80GHz, while POCO lists the Dimensity 7025-Ultra at up to 2.5GHz. These published chip specifications favor the vivo on paper, but clock speed and processor names alone are not benchmark results or proof of a particular gaming experience.
The X300 FE also has the larger stated battery capacity: 6,500mAh typical and 6,350mAh rated, compared with POCO’s 5,110mAh typical capacity. Its listed 90W wired charging is twice the POCO’s 45W figure. Capacity and charging ratings do not establish actual battery life or charging time; those depend on usage, conditions and the charging setup.
SIM, storage expansion and durability
POCO’s listed hybrid slot supports either a second SIM or a microSD card, giving it a storage-expansion option at the cost of using that slot for one purpose at a time. Vivo lists two nano-SIM slots and eSIM support instead. Confirm local carrier compatibility and the exact regional phone variant before relying on eSIM or network-band support.

Vivo lists an IP68/IP69 rating, but this should not be read as a promise that the phone is waterproof. Vivo qualifies the rating as based on specified laboratory test conditions, says resistance may diminish through wear, cautions against immersion in everyday use and excludes liquid damage from warranty coverage.

The available price observations do not establish one definitive current difference. On October 5, 2026, the vivo India store page displayed ₹99,999 for a selected Noir Black 12GB/512GB X300 FE and showed ₹129,999 as its MRP. A 91mobiles comparison page displayed ₹89,999 for the X300 FE via Amazon and ₹14,999 for the POCO M7 Pro via Flipkart.
Those figures are not a like-for-like, simultaneous checkout comparison: the sellers differ, the POCO configuration does not align neatly with the configurations on POCO’s global specification page, and the displayed offers can change. The vivo store observation is for one specified 12GB/512GB model, not a universal price. Check the exact SKU, seller and final checkout price for both phones on the same date before calculating a difference.

Pick the POCO M7 Pro 5G if these matter most
- A larger 6.67-inch display.
- A 3.5mm headphone jack or microSD-card flexibility.
- A lower price, provided the current local listing and configuration confirm the saving.
Pick the vivo X300 FE if these matter most
- A smaller phone body with a 6.31-inch display.
- A dedicated telephoto and ultra-wide rear camera setup.
- The newer, higher-clocked processor listed by its manufacturer.
- Higher stated battery capacity, 90W wired charging or the listed IP68/IP69 rating, with its use and warranty limitations.
Before ordering either phone, compare the local RAM and storage configuration, network-band support, warranty, seller and included accessories. POCO notes that its package and configurations can vary by region; vivo’s India store lists a case, protective film, cable and adapter in the box.
