The POCO M7 Pro 5G is the more compact, lighter choice with an AMOLED display, optical image stabilization (OIS) on its main camera and faster-rated charging. The Redmi 15 5G has the larger screen and a higher typical battery-capacity rating. An India comparison listing retrieved in 2026 showed the Redmi ₹6,500 higher, but prices vary by seller and configuration. Check that you are comparing the 5G Redmi 15—not the separate 4G model—and local versions of both phones.
POCO M7 Pro 5G vs Redmi 15 5G: specifications
The specifications below come from Xiaomi’s POCO M7 Pro 5G page and Redmi 15 5G India page. They describe the configurations published on those pages, not necessarily every regional variant. Xiaomi’s global Redmi page cautions: “Product may vary by region, please refer to the actual product.”

Which phone has the better screen?
The POCO specifies AMOLED, a 6.67-inch panel and up to 120Hz refresh. The Redmi’s 6.9-inch FHD+ screen is larger and lists a higher maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. Choose based on whether you prioritize the POCO’s display technology or the Redmi’s extra screen area and stated refresh ceiling; these specifications alone do not establish which looks better in everyday use.
How do the cameras compare?
Both list a 50MP main rear camera, but the POCO explicitly specifies OIS, which helps stabilize the camera against small movements. The POCO also lists a 20MP front camera versus the Redmi’s 8MP. Megapixel counts and the presence of OIS do not, by themselves, establish overall photo or selfie quality. The cited Redmi India page lists an auxiliary lens, without a comparable depth-camera specification.

Battery capacity, charging and weight
The Redmi’s 7000mAh typical capacity is larger than the POCO’s 5110mAh typical capacity. That does not guarantee a particular runtime advantage: actual battery life depends on usage and other conditions. Charging wattage is a separate measure. The POCO is rated at 45W and the Redmi at 33W, so the POCO has the higher stated charging rate; these figures do not establish exact charging times.
The POCO weighs 190g and the Redmi 217g, making the POCO 27g lighter according to the cited specifications. The listed protection claims also describe different things: Gorilla Glass 5 is a display-cover material, while IP64 is a dust-and-splash rating. Xiaomi says not to immerse the Redmi in water.

Quick Recap
What to check before buying
- Confirm the Redmi is the 5G model, and verify the exact regional model and network bands for your carrier.
- Match RAM and storage as closely as possible; the configurations listed on the cited India and global pages differ.
- Check local support terms, NFC availability and other regional specifications rather than assuming they match these pages.
- Verify the package contents with the local seller. The POCO global specifications list a 45W charger in the box; Xiaomi India lists a 33W charger for the Redmi, while Xiaomi’s global Redmi page says the adapter is not included.
