The Gym Gains event in Plants vs Brainrots ran from January 3 to January 10, 2026, on Central Island, and is over. During the event, players submitted Brainrots whose displayed weight fit each milestone’s range; 25 successful submissions unlocked the reward track. This is a historical guide, not instructions for starting the event now.
When and where the Gym Gains event ran
Secondary game guides and a community event page report that Gym Gains ran January 3–10, 2026. The event was on Central Island in the gym-themed area called Planet Freshness, reportedly behind the Fireworkino. A later event page lists Sprout Studies as the event that followed Gym Gains. No official developer source in the available accounts establishes whether Gym Gains will return.
A January 2026 guide says reaching Central Island required Rebirth 1 and 1,000,000 in-game cash. Treat that as the guide’s reported access requirement, not an officially confirmed rule.
How players progressed through the event
- Go to the Gym Gains station in Planet Freshness on Central Island.
- Check the required weight range for the current milestone.
- Submit one Brainrot whose displayed weight is within that range.
- Repeat with a Brainrot that fits the next milestone’s range; each valid submission advances the track by one milestone.
The reported eligibility check was weight, not Brainrot rarity, mutation, or DPS. The acceptable range rose as players advanced, so a Brainrot that qualified for an earlier milestone might not qualify later.
