Its manual lists 4,096 pressure levels and palm rejection, but says the pen does not support tilt. Check the compatibility information for your exact Chromebook before buying: support for USI does not guarantee that every pen feature, magnetic attachment, or fit will work with every device.
What Penoval announced
Android Central covered the Penoval USI 2.0 stylus as a launch in January 2023. At the time, the outlet reported a launch price of about $57 and Penoval’s claim of up to 90 hours of battery life. Those are historical launch-era details, not confirmation of today’s price or availability, and the battery figure is a company claim rather than an independent test result. Android Central’s launch report also describes USB-C charging and backward compatibility with USI 1.0.
What the ME-USI732 manual says about features
The Penoval manual page identifies this model as ME-USI732. It lists Type-C charging, about 50 minutes of charging time, 4,096 pressure levels, and palm rejection. The manual page’s publication date is not established, so treat these as specifications listed there rather than independently verified test results. The ME-USI732 manual page also states that tilt is not supported.
That distinction matters because USI 2.0 is a protocol generation, not a guarantee that each USI 2.0 pen implements every capability associated with the protocol. Chrome Unboxed describes NFC wireless charging and expanded tilt as examples of USI 2.0 features, but those should not be assumed for Penoval’s model: its manual specifies Type-C charging and says tilt is unsupported. Chrome Unboxed’s USI 2.0 coverage discusses the protocol and launch context.

Which Chromebooks are listed as compatible?
The ME-USI732 manual page names the Lenovo Chromebook Duet, Duet 3, and Duet 5 in its compatibility list. Launch coverage also presents the Lenovo Chromebook Duet 3 as a device requiring a USI 2.0 pen. These references support those named pairings, but they are not a universal compatibility guarantee for every Chromebook or every device revision.
Before purchasing, compare your Chromebook’s exact model and generation with current compatibility information from the device or pen maker. A broad claim such as “USI compatible” does not establish that a particular combination supports every feature, fits as expected, or attaches magnetically. Android Central notes that magnetic attachment depends on the Chromebook having appropriate built-in magnets.

USI 2.0 protocol support versus Penoval’s features
USI is a stylus-and-device interoperability standard. A newer protocol version can provide capabilities that a particular pen does not include. For the Penoval ME-USI732, the available model-specific information establishes USB-C charging, pressure sensitivity, palm rejection, and no tilt support; it does not establish NFC wireless charging for this pen. Confirm the capabilities you need for the specific pen and Chromebook combination instead of inferring them from “USI 2.0” alone.

The CTL USI Pen 2.0 is another option with manufacturer-listed support for USI 1.0, USB-C charging, pressure sensitivity, and named CTL Chromebook pairings. CTL lists up to 90 hours of battery life, specified as 60 hours active plus 30 hours sleep; this is the manufacturer’s specification, not an independent test. The available product information does not provide a controlled comparison with Penoval, so neither pen can be declared the better choice on these claims alone.
